Our classroom was awarded a $500 grant from
AthFest to create gifts and crafts for the residents of the Winterville Retirement Center. To date, the students have made Valentine's Day cards and tissue paper flowers. I passed out the gifts on Friday, February 14, 2014 to each resident personally. Due to the snow days this past week, students were not able to go with me to deliver the gifts. We are currently making picture frames. I look forward to the students going with me on the next visit!
